Today we went on our field trip to learn about the geology of some of Chicago's famous buildings. Some of the buildings we saw where the Tribune Tower, The Wrigley Building, The Hard Rock Hotel, The Water Tower, and The Chicago Cultural Center. One highlight came when we got lost looking for Jay and Lindsay's building and Ms. Meyer had to ask the police officer where to go. Looking at the buildings, we learned that they used a lot of the same materials to construct them like granite and limestone (a lot of limestone). After a lot of walking and a long lunch at the Water Tower's Food Life, it was off to New Trier.
