'Sue' the Mighty T. Rex

I'm sure that most of you guys have seen this famous dinosaur's fossilized remains at the Field Museum, I know it was one of my distinct childhood memories. But when gazing up at this mighty Tyrannosaurus rex, did you ever wonder how she died? Well, scientists have recently found surprisingly evidence that Sue was killed by a lowly parasite. The holes in her jaw originally were previously believed to be battle scares, but now a new study has concluded that these were a result of an infection from a parasite that still affects modern birds. This infection was so severe that she starved to death. RIP, Sue!
